General
The getStockItem function is used to integrate with Visma.net, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, through the APIcenter. This function allows you to retrieve information about a specific stock item within the Visma.net application.
When calling the getStockItem function, you typically provide an identifier for the stock item, such as the item's unique ID or code. The process then returns detailed information about the stock item, including its attributes, such as description, quantity on hand, price, and any other relevant data associated with it.
Using the APIcenter integration for Visma.net, you can utilize the getStockItem function to gather real-time information about stock items stored within the ERP system. This can be useful for tasks like inventory management, pricing calculations, or generating reports.
