Installation
Add your application by wizard
You can add your application via the integration wizard, you can find the button for this on the dashboard page.
After clicking the start integrating button a pop up will appear with the wizard, please make sure you do not use any pop-up blocker at this point.
Click next and in the following screen you can add your applications that you want to connect. Search for Magento and click on the Application.
For Magento the following fields need to be filled in for a successful connection to be established.
- Display Title: The name of the application, no special requirements.
- This can be useful if there are multiple Magento applications, to be able to distinguish between them.
- API url: This is the web-address (URL) of the Magento installation for this application.
- Usually this is the address of the webshop. Example: “mywebshop.com”
- Access Token: The is the access authorization for Magento.
- Check the next section for description on how to find this.
Magento settings location
This section will show you how to find the required settings in Magento.
When you logged into Magento as an administrator, find the System->Integrations section.
Click the Add New Integration
To create new Integration fill up all the required information such as Name , Email and your current password. Also go to the API tab and set the required access to 'All'
To create an access token click save & activate
Click "Allow" in the next screen and the Integration Tokens for Extensions will be visable.
If you are on Magento version 2.4.4 or higher, you should also check if the following setting is correct:
First check your Magento Version to see this applies to you. You can do this by logging into your Magento Admin Panel. Once you are on the Admin Panel, scroll down the page. You will see the Magento Version in the bottom (footer) right corner.
If you are on Magento version 2.4.4 or higher check the following setting, if not go to the next step.
When on the Magento Admin Panel, go to Stores > Configuration > Services > OAuth > Consumer Settings.
Check if the Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens is set to: "Yes", and proceed to the next steps.
Go back to our APIcenter wizard and paste the access token and API url in the corresponding input fields, and click save to save the application credentials and click test connection te complete
Now you have succesfully added the Magento application, you need to enter the second application, which you would like to set up the integration with Magento with. See the Application Manuals page on how to setup the second application you want to use.
In step 3 you can select the packages that you want to make use of. These packages are the flows that determine what data is send from and to Magento.
In step 4 you can set the all the settings that tweaks your integration without adjusting mappings and or adjusting code. In this step you need to do this for all your flows. The settings we have standard enabled and disabled are based upon 90% of the integrations we currently have running.
Step 5 finishes the wizard and on this point you can enable the flows to start running, if you want to adjust advanced settings we advice to start them manually in the integrations overview.
